Ross Dies, DDS
Dr. Dies is a Louisiana native and has over 27 years of experience in the dental profession. He is the founder of Shreveport-Bossier Family Dental Care. With over 800 hours of continuing education in a wide variety of clinical and lecture courses, Dr. Dies is dedicated to providing the highest level of patient care and offers the most recent advances in dental technologies.
An active member of the Northwest Louisiana Dental Association, Dr. Dies holds memberships in the Louisiana Dental Association, the Northwest Louisiana General Dentistry, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
In addition to his busy practice, Dr. Dies co-founded and served as president of the Shreveport-Bossier Children’s Dental Clinic. He currently serves as a board member for the clinic, which provides dental care to underprivileged children in our area. He also serves as a volunteer dentist for the Louisiana Donated Dental Services; and spends time traveling on medical mission trips to Honduras and Mexico.
Dr. Dies was also included in the 2008-2010 “Americas Top Dentist” by the Consumer Research Council of America and for several years has been consistently named as one of the “Best Dentists” in the area by Shreveport-Bossier magazine.
Dr Dies lives in Shreveport with his wife, Ali, daughter, Brittney, and son, Mason.
Cody Cowen, DDS
Dr. Cowen, born and raised locally, attended Captain Shreve High School and received his undergraduate degree from LSU in Baton Rouge. Loving the Louisiana lifestyle, he chose to stay in the Magnolia state and attend LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans. He and his wife, Haily, who is also a dental hygienist, have two wonderful boys, Christian and Hayden. He enjoys practicing in the Shreveport/Bossier area. Dr. Cowen welcomes patients of all ages, children as well as adults, and he makes it his primary goal to promote the significance of good quality oral hygiene. He is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the Louisiana Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Cowen not only values the patients in his own practice, but he also offers his time to different community service projects such as the Children’s Dental Clinic, Louisiana Donated Dental Services, and Dentistry From The Heart, which promotes health care to the under-served children and adults in the Shreveport-Bossier area.
In order to provide his patients with the latest trends in dentistry, Dr. Cowen takes advanced continuing education courses in dental implants and comprehensive crown and bridge dentistry. Ben Beach, DDS
Dr. Beach is a native of the Shreveport area and is very proud and excited to be practicing dentistry in his hometown. Dr. Beach graduated from Northwood High School and went on to receive a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Northwestern State University. Following his undergraduate studies, he went on to the LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans, LA, where he graduated with honors receiving the General Dentistry Award and the Chancellor’s Award. Dr. Beach takes personal pride in providing the very best dentistry possible to his patients, and doing it in a way that is comfortable, efficient, and best of all, pain-free.
As a member of the Louisiana Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. Beach stays abreast of the latest dental technology and research, and implements these advancements into his day to day practice. He enjoys every aspect of general dentistry and looks forward to many more wonderful years of serving the Shreveport-Bossier community.
Katie Beach, DDS
Dr. Beach, originally from Baton Rouge, has truly enjoyed making Northwest Louisiana her home. After receiving a bachelor’s degree in Biology from LSU, she graduated from the LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans. She is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the Louisiana Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Katie enjoys giving back to the Shreveport-Bossier community by participating in various charitable dental organizations such as Louisiana Donated Dental Services, Children’s Dental Clinic, and Dentistry From The Heart. She is also very honored and proud to have been nominated as one of the Top Dentists by SB Magazine every year since she has been practicing in North Louisiana.
Dr. Katie is dedicated to providing her patients with personalized dental comfort and care of the highest quality and prides herself in practicing gentle dentistry. She cares for patients of all ages and looks forward to helping you and your family achieve and maintain excellent oral health. Dr. Katie lives in North Shreveport with her husband, Ben, and their daughter, Bella Kate. Above all, she enjoys spending her free time with her family. Keep smiling and GEAUX TIGERS!
Dr. Emile Geneux, DDS
Dr. Geneux, originally from Shreveport is a 1998 graduate of Captain Shreve High School. He attended LSU in Baton Rouge where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology then went on to graduate from LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans. Dr. Geneux then moved to Charlotte, North Carolina where he gained three years of experience in a local dental clinic. He is a current member of the American Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Geneux enjoys giving back to the community that has given so much to him. He donates his time and services to the Children’s Dental Clinic of Shreveport-Bossier and Louisiana Donated Dental Services. Dr. Geneux also strongly supports the March of Dimes organization and is on the local chapter’s board of directors. He has a special interest in developing long term relationships with patients and their families and providing a relaxing environment for his patients to receive care.
When not in the office he enjoys any activity involving the LSU Tigers, tennis, golfing and fishing. Dr. Geneux also enjoys time with his wife, Beth, and identical twin daughters, Emmy and Evelyn.
Michael Haydel, DDS
Dr. Haydel grew up locally in Bossier City. He graduated honors at Parkway Highschool, while being members of the Track and Cross-Country Teams. Dr. Haydel attended Centenary College of Louisiana, being a member of the Cross-Country Team and Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity. Dr. Haydel graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Biology in 2009. Upon completing undergraduate education, he attended LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans, LA. While in dental school, he volunteered his skills for events such as Project Happy Tiger and Summer in the Swamp. Dr. Haydel graduated dental school with honors and received the prestigious Excellence in Comprehensive Dentistry Award.
With a desire to achieve the highest level of clinical excellence available to patients, Dr. Haydel completed a 1 year Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at the University of Alabama Birmingham. During this residency, advanced training was obtained in the fields of dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, and oral surgery. Dr. Haydel is passionate about the field of dentistry and considers it a hobby. Commited to staying at the forefront of current technology and state of the art techniques, Dr. Haydel is a member of both the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Haydel enjoys hunting, fishing, watersports, running, and attending LSU and Saints games during his free time. Dr. Haydel serves his country as a Captain in the Louisiana Army National Guard, with the honor of being a State Dental Officer.
Dr. Haydel is dedicated to building a great doctor-patient relationship, while performing the highest level of care to his patients, using state of the art techniques!
Kyle Cotton, DDS
Dr. Kyle Cotton was born and raised in Shreveport. He graduated from C.E. Byrd High School and went on to receive a bachelor’s degree in Biology from LSU. He then graduated from the LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans and is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Cotton believes that the foundation for better dental health is based on mutual trust, respect, communication, and understanding. Consequently, the comfort of the patient is always his top priority as he encourages patients to make sound choices about their own health. Ultimately, he believes that building a foundation of trust by treating patients as special individuals is vital to success.
When he is not in the office, Dr. Cotton enjoys outdoor activities, such as playing tennis and golf, and walking his dog, Brees. He also enjoys cheering on LSU and New Orleans Saints football. He is happy to be back in his hometown to work with the people of the Shreveport-Bossier community
Anna Hastings, DMD
Dr. Hastings comes from a strong dental background, with her father being an Orthodontist, mother a General Dentist, and sister an Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Resident. Dr. Hastings received her DMD from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry.
After graduating from dental school, Dr. Hastings completed a 1 year General Practice Residency at UAB hospital in Birmingham, AL. During her additional training, she learned advanced techniques for better treating her patients. She enjoys spending time with her fiancé, Dr. Michael Haydel, and their dog Maya. Dr. Hastings looks forward to providing gentle Dentistry and developing a great Doctor-Patient relationship.
Dr. Timothy Tate, DDS
Dr. Timothy Tate is a New Orleans native and is excited to make a home in Shreveport. He received his bachelor’s degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from Tulane University before graduating from LSU School of Dentistry where he received the William F. Schmidt Memorial Achievement award for ethics, professional demeanor, and dedication to dental treatment planning as well as the LSU Humanistic Culture award. He is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and National Dental Association.
Dr. Tate enjoys appreciating and participating in artistic endeavors such as drawing, writing, and playing piano. Most of all, he is looking forward to treating all of his patients with the utmost care and respect in order to promote exceptional oral health.
Dr. David Wischoff, DDS
Dr. David Wischoff was raised locally in Benton, Louisiana and graduated from Benton High School. After graduation he continued his education at Louisiana State University of Shreveport. Here, he received a degree of Bachelors of Science in Biological Sciences. He graduated with honors, receiving a Magna Cum Laude honors designation.
He completed his dental education at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans, LA. During this period he volunteered his skills, providing pro bono dental services to residents of the Greater New Orleans area via various volunteer organizations, including Project Happy Tiger, LA Mission of Mercy, Making Impressions Tooth Bus, and Ozanam Inn. Upon graduation, he received the Academy of General Dentistry’s Senior Dental Student Award, awarded to an individual who exhibited potential for becoming an outstanding general dentist and one who demonstrated attributes conductive to an exceptional doctor-patient relationship.
Dr. Wischoff is proud to call North Louisiana home and is excited to have the privilege of providing dental services to members of the community in which he grew up. He believes that the key to dental health is a doctor-patient relationship that focuses on communication, education, compassion and understanding. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Louisiana Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He believes that a health care professional’s education should never be considered complete and that furthering ones education is paramount in providing patients with the best health care possible.
Dr. Meredith Patton, DDS
Dr. Meredith Patton was raised in Shreveport and graduated with honors from Caddo Magnet High School. She continued her education at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, earning a B.S. in biology. With several family members in the medical field, Dr. Patton chose to break from tradition and attended the LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans. While in dental school, Dr. Patton received years of hands-on experience treating a wide range of patients, from young children to the elderly. She also had the opportunity to give back to the community by providing dental care to patients at the Ozanam homeless clinic, the Happy Tiger volunteer program, and the Give Kids A Smile program.
After spending almost a decade in south Louisiana, Dr. Patton decided to return home to Shreveport. She enjoys being part of a dental team that treats its patients with the utmost respect. Her goal is to serve the community with compassionate care utilizing her knowledge and skills. Dr. Patton strives to make every dental appointment a pain-free experience through her gentle approach and steadfast commitment to her patients’ well being.
Dr. Patton was the recipient of the Northwest Academy of Restorative Dentistry Award and is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry as well as the American Dental Association. When not in the office, she enjoys playing golf, running, cooking for her family, and cheering on the Tigers!
