If you choose to undergo this type of sedation, you will be instructed to inhale a mixture of nitrous oxide and oxygen through a comfortable face mask. You will feel calm and relaxed in just 3-5 minutes of inhalation. This sedation method is mild and safe, with virtually no side effects.
